an update of my un-inspiring life
carpark north - best day
Seeing that a thick layer of dust has settled down and that giant tarantulas have spun cobwebs of varying sizes on the different corners of this online journal, an update to remind everyone that I truly have returned to my old blogging ways would indeed be highly appropriate.
So let's begin with how the monotony of my mundane life ended last Thursday. As the golden sun was shining brightly up in the heavens and vibrantly coloured butterflies flutter in mesmerising grace while wedded pigeons screw each other upside down in their steamy nest of love, I was having superb fun taking photos at Chinatown with Ms. Khairin Nazura and Mr. Chong Yihan! Now allow me to share with you some of my personal favourites!

The onset of a dangerous street fight!
The Incredible Hulk! Muahahaha!

Even with longer legs, I'm still as fucking short as ever :(
After photography fun subsided with kick ass Milo Dinosaur at Far East Square, Khai and I proceeded to meet Shila, Zat and Sarima J at the iconic giant durian we Singaporeans call The Esplanade to catch Kings of Convenience in concert! *Cue for grating groupie girl shrieks*
The concert was absolutely fantastic and worth every single cent of my hard-to-come-by money. The acoustic renditions of their songs was superb! We just sat there, silently savouring every word, every strum of the guitar and every tinkling of the piano. Erlend was very interactive and amusingly entertaining with his jokes and hilarious dance routines. A man who isn't afraid to embrace his dorkiness is one hell of a sexified man! HAHAHA!
After the concert ended with two encore performances, Khai, Zat, Sarima J and I walked dreamily to Lau Pa Sat to meet Jeabbie Nehneh, Gabes, Agnes and Yihan for supper. Oh I finally met JC too! Jean, you might be the original neh of all, but I think I like your boyfriend better than I like you. HAHA!
So what else should I update you with. Why, what about an eyesore of a picture of me and my new haircut? But be warned, it might be a tad disappointing as it isn't exactly the adventurous haircut I initially wanted to experiment with. I still like it though and so should you! And as it's still quite short, do give it time to blossom yeah.

Syasya Banana, this is for you!

AOL Music Sessions
fort minor - where'd you go
True to the perpetual music-hungry nature of a modern-day teenager, I am one who will not survive without my daily dosage of my favourite cable channel - MTV. In the comfort of my living space, I will transport myself to that intricately-woven world of creative imagination and savour the artistically orchestrated visual elements innovatively incorporated into the various music videos.
Now, if you think that sounded like highly pretentious bullshit, it was. Remove all that mindless padding, I'm just plain guilty of passively staring into a rectangular box for several consecutive hours to the point of stupidity and possibly mental retardation.
But I've found a new form of entertainment as of late. As I was listening to good music by Fort Minor online, lost in a trance, feeling extremely joyous in my syiok sendiri mode, I saw this particular link. Out of plain curiosity, I moved my mouse towards the link and innocently clicked it. With that one simple pushing down action by my right index finger, I found myself being directed to this whole other spectacular musical dimension - AOL Music Sessions.
It's basically very fucking awesome because it plays fantastic live performances by some of the hottest mainstream artists of today. I wasted a gist of my unproductive afternoon watching Fort Minor perform five songs off their debut album. The raw energy, the passion, the live instrumentation, the deliciously precise articulation - it was all so fucking orgasmic! And now, I find myself extremely tempted to crack my skull open with a sledge hammer for having the audacity to miss their Singapore Indoor Stadium concert.

let's experiment
the dandy warhols - you were the last high
Having a constant change in hairstyle is reflective of personal growth. The most adventurous hairstyle I ever experimented with was highlighting my hair blonde. But now I've decided to take it one step further. I have two major events to attend in the next two weeks, in particular the Kings of Convenience concert this Thursday and MTV's Fashionably Loud event the week following that. SO my sexy little thugs, I am in serious need of a fresh new look.

Say goodbye to the old Arman you see above...
...and say hello to this guy over here!
Before I make an appointment with Toni&Guy early this week, tell me what you think, before it's too late!

Is there a substantial reason behind the revival of this online journal? This is one of those highly rare moments during which my ingeniousness would fail me, because I honestly do not have an answer to that question. But if you were to engage in some critical thinking, a skill which without a doubt has been embedded into my initially passive brain through weeks of constructive Interdisciplinary Study classes, reviving this blog does facilitate the filtering of my truest, most down-for-me buddies from those whom I can afford to label mere casual acquaintances.
Finding Saidah and Wendy welcome the return of this blog, without having any prior knowledge of its resurrection, sure as hell makes a boy feel special. Please do not tell me you guys have been checking for possible updates on this commiserable blog on a regular basis for the past three months man. That's too sickly sweet lah!

the return of the blogging junkie loser
chris brown - yo
And so I've decided to drag my perky virtual butt back into the blogging domain. After three long months of "virtual detachment", which is technically incorrect and my daily chatting activity on MSN Messenger is solely sufficient to prove so, I decided to return to my old habit of documenting every single shit that remotely matters to the world for your reading enlightenment. If you were to ask me why, well all i can say is "beats me too man".
Three long months. It is almost surreal to reminisce about how much I've changed and how much I've went through in that seemingly-short three months. Mind-blowing it seriously is, but true.
Coming back to present times, my fucking sophomore year has come to an end and I'm just slacking my life away unproductively until attachment starts. I'll be designing Tribune people, and if you're wondering what in shit fuck that is, it's Ngee Ann Polytechnic's school newspaper. Pretty cool I subjectively think. And that's all I have to say for now. Show me some love on the tagboard if you're even reading this.
